FAQ

Your Questions Answered

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

We offer comprehensive speech-language screenings, evaluations, and weekly intervention in private schools, preschools, early learning centers, and ABA centers in Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Westminster, Broomfield, Commerce City and the surrounding areas.

WILL MY INSURANCE COVER YOUR SERVICES?

Bloom Pediatric Therapies is contracted with Medicaid and CHP+ (Colorado Access). We are not in-network with any private insurance companies at this time. We do reduce our rates to accommodate private-pay families so that services are more accessible. We will happily provide information for you to create and submit super bills to your insurance agency.

HOW LONG WILL MY CHILD NEED THERAPY?

This is the most common question that we get asked, and is the most difficult to answer. Length of treatment is extremely variable and impacted my many different factors (e.g. level of delay, consistency with therapy, home practice out of sessions etc.). In general, therapies are not typically "quick fixes", and do require a family's commitment to supporting their child.

HOW OFTEN WILL YOU SEE MY CHILD IF THEY DO QUALIFY?

Typically treatment sessions are conducted 1-2x/week per discipline depending on your child's age, level of delay, and specific areas of need. If your child needs support in more than one area, it is likely that they will need to be seen more than 1x/week.

CAN YOU SEE MY CHILD AT HER PUBLIC SCHOOL?

Outpatient therapists are not currently allowed to provide therapeutic services in the public school setting. If you would like for your child to receive services at his/her school, you may request that the Special Education team at your school evaluate your child. Please know that cut offs for qualifying in the public schools are different than in private clinics.
